Nepal Baram Sangh (NBS) is a national-level organization established to represent and strengthen the Baram Indigenous community of Nepal. The Baram are a highly marginalized Indigenous nationality, with their largest traditional concentration in Gorkha District, although Baram people live in several districts. A major focus of the organization is the preservation and revitalization of the Baram language (Balkura), which has been described as endangered. Nepal Baram Sangh and district-level Baram organizations have worked to promote the community's language, culture, identity, and traditional heritage. The organization has also advocated for political representation, Indigenous rights, community development, and greater recognition of Baram identity.
