"Jirel Association Nepal (JAN)" is a community-based organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating the unique cultural heritage and identity of the Jirel Indigenous community of Nepal. The Jirel people have their ancestral roots in the mountainous region of Jiri in Dolakha district and possess a distinctive language, traditions, customs, and cultural heritage. JAN works to connect Jirel people within Nepal and across the diaspora, fostering community unity, cultural awareness, and collaboration. The organization supports initiatives related to education, community development, cultural preservation, and the social and economic advancement of the Jirel community.
