"Nepal Hyolmo Society Service Association (NHSSA)" is a non-profit Indigenous Peoples’ organization dedicated to protecting, preserving, and promoting the identity, language, script, religion, culture, traditions, and rights of the Hyolmo Indigenous community of Nepal. The Hyolmo people are primarily associated with the Helambu region of Sindhupalchok and surrounding areas, and have a distinct cultural and linguistic identity. NHSSA works for the social, economic, educational, and cultural empowerment of the Hyolmo community. Its activities include cultural preservation, education programs, health initiatives, livelihood support, awareness campaigns, publications, and advocacy for Indigenous Peoples’ and human rights. The organization also promotes environmental awareness and sustainable community development. The association seeks to strengthen unity within the Hyolmo community while ensuring the preservation of its unique heritage and meaningful participation in Nepal’s national development. It also collaborates with national and international organizations working toward Indigenous rights, cultural preservation, and community development. NHSSA is headquartered in "Boudha-6, Kathmandu", and its current Central Executive Committee is led by "Renjen Dolma Hyolmo as Chairperson", with "Tsewang Namgyal Hyolmo as General Secretary".
