Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) is an autonomous and politically non-partisan, national level representative organization of Janajatis. NEFIN currently consists of 54 indigenous member organizations widely distributed throughout the Terai, Hills and Himalayas of Nepal. Its objective is to promote and protect social, cultural, economic and political rights of indigenous nationalities of Nepal. NEFIN has been implementing Janajati Empowerment Project (JEP) funded by the Department for International Development (DFID) through Enabling State Programme (ESP). 

NEFIN invites applications from qualified Nepali citizen for the position of Project Manager for NEFIN’s Janajati Empowerment Project (JEP). 

The candidate should have academic qualification of Master degree in relevant fields and past similar management and organizational development experiences would be advantageous.

• At least 5 years experiences in project management, planning, monitoring and evaluation
• Experience in designing and facilitation of different types of capacity development training courses and strategic planning
• Work experience with donor agencies and sound knowledge in resource mobilization
• Work experience with Indigenous Nationalities empowerment and mainstreaming program
• Experience and ability to network and lobby with key strategic stakeholder towards Janajati
• interests and agendas
• Strong command in written and spoken English and ability to independently write reports
• Command of one of the Janajati languages
• Ability to travel extensively to remote project sites
