The Journalism Training organized by NEFIN/JEP held on 1^st December 2008. The Training was inaugurated on 27^th November 2008; there were altogether 25 participants (Mostly working Journalists in the District) in the training 10 from selected DCCs, 7 from other DCCs, 7 IPOs and a JEP Staff. Chief guests of the inauguration and closing function of the training were Ms. Chinimaya Majhi, Chairperson of National Indigenous Women's Federation and Mr. Jitpal Kirat, Vice-Chairman of National Federation of Development of Indigenous Nationalities (NFDIN). The Inauguration and closing function were respectively chaired by Mr. Pasang Sherpa and Mr. Tek Bahadur Sunuwar respectively Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of NEFIN. The Training was facilitated by ANIJ: Facilitators were: Raj Kumar Digpal, Khim Ghale, Ujir Magar, Danda Gurung, Mohan Singh Lama from ANIJ and Dr. Krishna Bahadur Bhattachan, Ms. Sangini Rana Magar, Mr. Puskar Mathema, Puspahari Khampa Rai, Kumar Yatru.

The Proposal Writing Training organized by NEFIN/JEP held on 29^th November 2008. The Training was organized for participants from 10 DCCs 2  from each DCC. The Training was jointly inaugurated with Journalism Training. Mr. Sambhu Rai was the main facilitator of the Training.
